Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a part-time Caregiver in Orange, CA to help residents with daily living activities including bathing, grooming and meals. You will follow care plans, maintain dignity, and support residents in activities while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

The role requires 18+ years, HS diploma or equivalent, and current first aid certification; Nurses Aide certification is preferred. Health screenings and TB testing are required, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older or have proper work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurses Aide certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification required.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• Health screening and negative TB test within 6 months or 7 days of employment.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%).
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist residents in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals and mobility.
• Provide assistance at mealtime with serving and clearing.
• Transport residents safely as needed and escort to activities.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Lead residents in meaningful activities.
• Assist with laundry and other community duties as required.
• Manage oxygen equipment per MD orders and document changes.
