Job summary

The University of Notre Dame’s LaFortune Student Center is seeking enthusiastic Baristas to join our Campus Dining team as temporary/on-call staff. You will support guest services, prepare beverages, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for Notre Dame students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Time management with minimal supervision.
• Positive, respectful communication and listening.
• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling and serving.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and exceed expectations while working at a fast-paced dining establishment.
• Assist with preparation of food and drinks as needed.
• Stock and rotation of food inventories.
• Operate order and point of sale equipment.
• Accurately follow the brand standards.
• Wash dishes, and maintain a clean unit.
• Perform all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities.
