Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is seeking temporary/on-call Baristas for the Starbucks at LaFortune Student Center. Join our Campus Dining team to support campus life and hospitality services in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and exceed expectations while working at a fast-paced dining establishment
• Assist with preparation of food and drinks as needed
• Stock and rotation of food inventories
• Operate order and point of sale equipment
• Accurately follow the brand standards
• Wash dishes, and maintain a clean unit
• Perform all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities
