Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly handle/carry items up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive from site to site in Essex County to complete assigned tasks.
• Visit supply shops or hardware stores for items when required.
• Perform minor wall repair and paint walls and doors.
• Change light bulbs.
• Perform minor plumbing such as unblocking sinks and drains.
• Address minor electrical repairs such as replacement of light switches.
• Put together and repair furniture, and hang TVs.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities such as HVAC filter changes.
• Investigate problems and manage solutions accordingly.
• Update records of completed and pending work.

Skills

Valid Driver’s License

Basic computer skills

Written and verbal English skills

Competent at using basic tools

Proficient with work order management systems

Hands‑on experience using small commercial/mechanical equipment

Literacy and numeracy skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
