The role requires a valid driver’s license and readiness to be on-call for urgent maintenance, with responsibilities spanning preventative maintenance, minor plumbing/electrical work, and report preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record is required.
• Willing to be on-call for urgent maintenance.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Proficient with work order management systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel between sites in Essex County using a company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including HVAC filter changes.
• Assist with minor plumbing repairs.
• Handle minor electrical repairs.
• Respond to emergency or urgent on-call maintenance requests.
• Investigate facility issues and implement solutions.
• Determine tools and equipment needed for each job.
• Prepare clear reports of completed and pending work.
• Support general site cleaning, space prep, or furniture setup as needed.
