Job summary

Sentinel Real Estate is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a prestigious apartment community in West Orange, NJ. You will work under the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and on-site tasks to keep common areas and units in top condition.

The role requires HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to participate in 24-hour on-call service.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Must be available for 24-hour on-call service as assigned.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and basic hand tools.
• Minimum 2 years experience in multifamily maintenance or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs at the property as assigned.
• Complete work orders efficiently and courteously.
• Inspect buildings, including roofs and common areas, regularly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and storage areas.
