Job summary

Siemens Morristown, NJ is seeking a Service Specialist to perform tasks on building automation systems, including maintenance, projects, and on-call service. You will respond to emergency calls during and after hours, serving as the face of Siemens to help customers save energy and money.

The role requires hands-on experience with electronic control or HVAC equipment, ability to climb ladders and work in ducts, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle documentation and training duties in a field service

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Electro-mechanical experience and user PC/software skill.
• Ability to work in ladders, scaffolds, ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, and above ceilings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willing to work overtime and hold a valid driver's license; eligible for Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Collaborate with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training.
• Maintain service tickets and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide customer training on system operations and operation guidance.
• Identify system discrepancies and assist in pricing repairs and upgrades.
