Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation System (BAS) Technician in Raleigh, NC to monitor, operate, test, and maintain critical BAS equipment and related controls.

You will respond to tenant calls, alarms, and work orders, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and programming adjustments to ensure optimal facility operation. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6+ years of BAS/controls experience.
• Vocational training or an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, test, and maintain BAS and related components.
• Respond to tenant calls, logs, alarms, and perform triage.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and programming adjustments.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty components as needed.
• Coordinate with BAS Manager/Lead and maintenance teams.
