Auberge Collection is seeking an On Call Barista to craft exquisite coffee experiences in our hotel outlets. Greet guests, prepare beverages to order, and maintain spotless stations while ensuring guest satisfaction.

This role supports busy service periods, requires attention to dietary restrictions, cash handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment at our Austin properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a barista preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.

Responsibilities

• Greet the guest in a prompt, courteous manner and explain available items in detail.
• Record the details of the order from the guest, repeating the order back to the guest to check for accuracy.
• Input the order into the POS system and communicate order specifics to kitchen/bar staff.
• Ensure dietary restrictions and allergies are noted on the ticket and communicated with culinary.
• Prepare beverage orders to accuracy and serve using proper utensils.
• Balance cash, credit card, and other sales; run end-of-shift reports and cash reconciliation.
