Job summary

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is seeking an on-call Banquet Server to join our Event Services team and provide excellent service for our guests. You will collaborate with Event Planning and Setup teams, and work with meeting planners to bring event visions to life.

The role involves setting up banquet spaces, presenting menu offerings, and ensuring a clean, visually appealing environment. Flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight.
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of AM and PM shifts, holidays, and weekends; availability to work a minimum of (2) Saturdays shifts per month is required.
• Previous experience serving, especially in banquets, is preferred

Responsibilities

• Banquet Server is responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions.
• They make sure function space is visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event.
• This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service.
• Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
