Job summary

The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to assist the Banquet Manager during events. You will help serve guests with courtesy and ensure smooth banquet operations.

This role supports the banquet team, requiring hospitality experience and strong guest relations. The position is on-site with hourly pay of $20 and no tip eligibility, with a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be a team player and willing to pitch in to help coworkers.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Understand table settings and serviceware.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware as instructed.
• Attend roll call meetings to learn event details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages according to supervisor's instructions for consistency.
• Reset banquet room between functions and ensure readiness for next event.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
