Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an On-Call Banquet Staff member to join our South Seas property on Captiva Island, FL. You will set up banquet spaces, serve and bus tables, and help tear down after events, with pay ranging from $12.00 to $19.00 per hour plus service charges.

Qualifications

2-4 years of food service experience, preferably banquet service.
Experience in a 4- or 5-star venue with synchronized service.
Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Set up for functions, including draping tables, setting silverware, napkins, centerpieces.
Serve and bus tables, carry trays to function location.
Clear and tear down banquet rooms after events.
Assist with event room setup according to schedule and guest needs.
Prepare condiments, brew coffee, stock workstations.
Provide warm, sincere welcome and assist guests.
Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and quality of service.
Maintain safety, cleanliness and organization of storerooms and back hall.
