Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is seeking a Banquet Server on-call to support event service in a luxury hospitality setting. You will assist with setup, service and breakdown, describe menu items, and respond to guest requests with professional courtesy.

Ideal candidates bring strong food and beverage knowledge, a valid Food Handler Card and MAST alcohol permit, and a flexible schedule that includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong food & beverage knowledge is required.
• Food Handler Card and MAST Alcohol Permit is required at time of hire.
• Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Participates in service, setup and removal of food and beverage during banquet functions.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items to confidently describe food during plated and buffet meals and receptions.
• Communicates guest orders including dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
• Delivers food and beverages to guest tables promptly while ensuring quality.
• Anticipates guests' needs and responds with care and attention.

Banquet Server - On-Call

Key Elements of the Job:

• Participates in the service, setup and removal of food and beverage during banquet functions
• Maintains knowledge of menu items to be able to confidently describe food during plated and buffet meals along with receptions
• Communicates guest orders including any special needs, dietary restrictions or requests to the kitchen
• Delivers food and beverage to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure food quality
• Anticipates guests' needs and responds promptly with utmost care and attention
• Ascertains satisfaction and offers suggestions in enhancing the guest experience
• Breakdowns, cleans and set-up of tables, food buffets and beverage stations
• Ensures Four Seasons service standards of excellence are achieved
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong food & beverage knowledge is required
• Food Handler Card and MAST Alcohol Permit is required at time of hire
• Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline
• Flexible scheduling requiring availability of morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and holidays
• Banquet experience preferred
• Bartending skills is a plus
• Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
• Strong work ethic which includes a drive to grow, improve and learn everyday
• Energetic approach to his/her craft
• Calm composure under pressure
