Job summary

The Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver and serve food and beverages to guests with a friendly and efficient approach. This role supports the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver exceptional guest service and profitability, with duties spanning setting up banquet tables and maintaining smooth service throughout meals.

The position is on-call, offering flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays, with compensation of $7.25/hour plus tips and gratuities,

Responsibilities

• Set banquet tables to meet function specifications.
• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including meals and condiments.
• Ensure menu knowledge.
• Remove chinaware, glassware, silverware from tables and deliver to stewarding area.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely manner.
• Assist team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships.
• Assist with side work such as cleaning, stocking, folding silverware.

Job description

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. As a Banquet Server, you would be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Set banquet tables to meet function specifications.
• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments.
• Ensure menu knowledge.
• Remove chinaware, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
