Job summary

White Lodging Services, Inc. is seeking an on-call Banquet Server for Hotel Trinity in downtown Austin, opening in late 2026 as a premier Marriott Autograph Collection property.

You will help set up, serve, and tear down banquet events with focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. The role emphasizes professional appearance, teamwork, and knowledge of menu items, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k), PTO, and growth

Qualifications

• Outgoing and social personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of various food-service styles.
• Previous banquet or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and lift more than 10 pounds.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Set up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks accurately.
• Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets.
• Monitor tables, buffets, and breaks to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event.
• Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, garnishes; answer questions.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a On Call Banquet Server Position

What You'll Do

• Responsible for the successful set-up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks in assigned areas correctly and accurately.
• Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets.
• Monitor tables, buffets, and breaks to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event that exceeds guest expectations.
• Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality while always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
