Job summary

MEMPHIS PYRAMID Banquets & Events in Memphis, TN is seeking an on-call Banquet and Hotel Bartender to serve at the Pyramid’s Den Bar and during select events. You will mix cocktails, wine and beer to spec, keep a clean, stocked bar, and deliver a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll review BEOs, coordinate with banquet staff, handle cash and POS entries, and follow responsible alcohol service practices. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holiday events is required; prior banquet or

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume event environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sets up portable and event bars with liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and supplies before each event.
• Monitors and restocks bar inventory during events and reports shortages to management.
• Breaks down and cleans bar stations after each event, returning product and equipment to storage and completing inventory counts as directed.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe bar area, following all sanitation and safety standards.
