Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking an On-Call Banquet Bartender to create craft cocktails and serve guests at our Restaurant and banquet events. The role emphasizes knowledge of spirits, new mixology trends, and maintaining a pristine bar area with proper sanitation.

Availability for weekdays, weekends, and holiday coverage is required. Compensation is a flat hourly rate (non-tipped) with opportunities for engaging guest interactions, creativity, and growth within a respected hospitality

Qualifications

• Must have a true desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight, up to 60 pounds.
• Make craft cocktails and be knowledgeable about all spirits offered.
• Knowledge and desire to learn and speak about wine and beer.
• Tend to guests in bar area and provide great service through meaningful and efficient guest interactions.
• Serve and have full knowledge of bar food menu and Grab & Go offerings.
• Bartend at satellite events as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and rotation and stocking of all bar inventory.
• Must be able to work weekdays and weekends, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Bartend in our Restaurant and for Banquet functions.
• Provide libations and offer customized recommendations.
• Maintain an attractive bar with proper sanitation and stock.
• Rotate and stock bar inventory; ensure clean work area.
• Bartend at satellite events as needed.
• Deliver excellent guest service and engaging experiences.
