Job summary

Stonebridge at Embassy Suites Austin Central is seeking an experienced Bartender to mix and serve a variety of beverages for hotel guests and banquet events.

This on-site role requires setting up the bar, maintaining a clean workspace, handling payments with POS, and delivering friendly, professional service while following safety and alcohol service guidelines. Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Previous F&B experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as bartender or in food and beverage role preferred.
• Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately using POS.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• TIPS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Mix, pour, and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Set up and stock the bar with beverages, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bar area.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible beverage service guidelines.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Restock bar supplies as needed throughout shifts.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages to Bar Manager.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and secure stock.
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly.
