Job Summary

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor laws and regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Sets up and stocks the bar with beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Maintains freshness and quality of garnishes and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes drinks, and ensures proper portion control.
• Checks guest IDs for alcohol service.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, and manages vouchers.
• Secures all beverages, food, and cash at the end of shifts.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Arranges bar displays attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes glassware.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
