Essential Job Functions

1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and standards.
2. Set up and break down bar stations for banquet events, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
3. Maintain knowledge of event menus and beverage pairings to assist guests with selections.
4. Adhere to all liquor laws and responsible service policies, verifying guest age and monitoring alcohol consumption.
5. Process payments and operate a POS system accurately.
6. Collaborate with banquet staff to ensure seamless service during events.
7. Maintain inventory and restock bar supplies as needed.
8. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including MSDS and OSHA standards.
9. Provide exceptional guest service to enhance overall satisfaction.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a banquet or event setting.
2. Ability to operate a POS system efficiently.
3. Strong knowledge of mixology, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
8. Must meet state and local alcohol service requirements (e.g., TIPS certification).
