Job summary

Eurest USA is hiring an on-call Audio Visual Technician to support events at FIRSTWAVE ON-CALL – 1600 Capital One Drive, McLean, VA 22102. The shift is based on needs with pay ranging from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Ensures AV needs are met, interfaces with clients, and maintains positive relationships while delivering timely responses for space or service requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience supporting audio visual for events.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer and meeting planner requests from the reservation system and provides equipment/assistance at the time and place necessary.
• Provides problem escalation support and issue resolution and follows up on service challenges with the manager.
• Provides technical assistance for all meetings and customers that require tech services for their events.
• Follows SOPs for audio‑visual support as provided by the AV Manager and Director of Technology and Operations.
• Maintains room equipment inventory and reports maintenance activities.
