Job summary

WestLand Engineering and Environmental Services, a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking On-Call Archaeology Field Technicians in Utah to support CRM projects across the Great Basin and surrounding states. The role involves field surveys, documentation, GPS data collection, and reporting tasks, with opportunities for per diem and lodging arrangements during out-of-town assignments.

Qualified candidates have an Associate degree or higher in Archaeology/Anthropology, field/lab archaeology

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Archaeology or Anthropology.
• On-the-job archaeology experience or field school may substitute.
• Willingness to travel within Utah and surrounding states.
• Ability to carry up to 60 pounds of equipment.
• Ability to bend and kneel for long periods.
• Team player in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological field work to support project needs.
• Document and photograph artifacts and features; collect GPS data.
• Map sites, draw profiles, and maintain records.
• Support reporting tasks and draft tables.
