Zusammenfassung

The John Stewart Company is seeking a maintenance professional to perform a wide range of tasks including preventive, emergency, cosmetic and routine maintenance and regular inspections at a residential community. The role emphasizes safe work practices, problem solving, and strong resident service.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, coordinating with management, and performing skilled repairs across plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and masonry trades.

Qualifikationen

• Must be fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Able to function in an on-call capacity with reliable transportation.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience performing maintenance tasks in an apartment development or similar.
• Knowledge of REAC or regulatory inspections a plus.

Aufgaben

• Schedule and respond to work orders and coordinate with residents and management.
• Ensure preventive maintenance scheduling and performance is up to date.
• Perform cosmetic and routine maintenance throughout the community.
• Conduct unit turnovers and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and masonry repairs as needed.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work with the Property Manager.
• Be on-call for off-shift and weekend emergency maintenance coverage.
