Job summary

Caliber Living, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to support the Maintenance department at the Daytona Beach community. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing carpentry, electrical, and plumbing issues while ensuring a safe, secure living environment for residents and staff.

The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Prior apartment maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Three to five years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• HVAC certification; CPO certification; EPA Type I/II or Universal.
• Solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including light bulb changes, filter changes, window coverings, caulking, painting, pool maintenance, vinyl repair/installation.
• Repair electrical/plumbing issues and coordinate make-ready repairs.
• Respond to resident service requests and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain logs for maintenance, pool, HVAC, and life/safety inspections.
• On-call emergency service after hours; arrive within one hour when called.
• Keep maintenance shop clean and organized; assist in ordering supplies.
