Job summary

Caliber Living LLC is seeking a Service Technician in Gainesville, FL to assist the Service Manager in maintaining the property's physical integrity and safety. The role requires carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills, with a flexible schedule including on-call, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

The ideal candidate will perform various repairs across common areas and units, manage make-ready tasks, and ensure timely completion of service requests while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Three to five years of apartment maintenance experience (or equivalent).
• HVAC certification, CPO certification, EPA Type I and II or Universal certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including but not limited to light bulb changes, filter changes, window coverings installation/repair, caulking, painting.
• Handle pool maintenance and vinyl repair/installation; electrical and plumbing work.
• Inspect and coordinate all make-ready repairs and services; respond to resident requests promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe maintenance shop; conduct monthly lighting and fire life/safety inspections as directed.
