Job summary

Hubbell Realty Company is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician for Annex on the Square in Cedar Rapids. You will perform skilled apartment repairs and make-readies, with a focus on safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction.

Position includes regular weekday hours, and on-call duties with 24-hour emergency response. Must be able to lift, use basic tools, and coordinate with theProperty Manager and corporate support team.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential building systems and basic trades.
• Must provide own basic tools or be willing to obtain required tools.
• Mobile phone with data plan is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete maintenance/repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Document all work orders and submit to the Residential Property Manager daily.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Maintain inventory, shop organization, and equipment.
• Assist with bids and scheduling with vendors and the Property Manager.
