Job summary

Federal Guardian, LLC seeks Personal Financial Counselors to provide comprehensive financial counseling at military installations. You will offer one-on-one counseling, financial education, and coordinate workshops with base leadership to meet installation needs.

Qualifications include AFC/ChFC/CFP certification, U.S. citizenship, fluent English, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 1,000+ hours of counseling.

Qualifications

• Must have AFC or ChFC or CFP certification.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience for financial counseling.
• Over 1,000 hours of financial counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Deliver financial education and briefings; conduct workshops and seminars.
• Coordinate with installation POCs to ensure program scope and needs are met.
• Use virtual counseling or secure video tools when in-person visits are not possible.
• Adhere to DoW protocol and participate in supervision and trainings.
• All other duties as assigned.
