Job summary

Bonneville is seeking a Board Operator for our Phoenix site to operate the on‑air studio console and ensure FCC‑compliant broadcasts. The role is onsite, with a schedule including weekday mornings and weekends.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years in radio control room work, availability for Saturday or Sunday overnight, and familiarity with Zetta and Audio Vault. Training is provided, and a valid driver's license is required for remote broadcasts.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in radio control room work
• Consistent availability for Saturday or Sunday overnight (12a-7a)
• Zetta and Audio Vault experience preferred
• Training provided for operating the audio console during live, recorded and automated broadcasts
• Digital/website experience helpful
• Ability to drive company vehicles for remote broadcasts (valid driver's license & clean driving record)

Responsibilities

• Operate the on‑air console and ensure accurate broadcasts in FCC compliance
• Air commercials per program log
• Screen listener calls for talk programs when not using a producer
• Maintain transmitter and program logs
• Double check audio elements before airing
• Cross‑train on other shifts for scheduling contingencies
