Job summary

Bonneville Seattle is looking for a regular part-time board operator to manage the technical side of our daily sports talk show. The position is 25 hours weekly with a consistent M-F 6a-10a shift and is on-site at our Seattle facility.

You will maintain transmitter and program logs, air commercials per logs, edit podcasts, and support live and pre-recorded programming while ensuring FCC compliance and high-quality audio delivery. Collaboration with hosts and producers is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent accuracy and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet on-air deadlines.
• Able to interpret formatting philosophies and work with a team.
• Flexible, coachable, and able to handle changes under pressure.
• Clear and effective communication with hosts, anchors, and producers.

Responsibilities

• Own shift on-air console operations, maintain logs, and air commercials per program logs.
• Record satellite feeds, monitor FCC parameters, and manage audio quality before air.
• Edit and post daily podcasts and pull show video clips.
• Coordinate music and sound levels for shows and provide timely cues to talent.
• Screen calls professionally and support producers with content creation.
