Job summary

Bonneville International Corporation is seeking a Board Operator to manage the on-air studio and ensure precise broadcasts in line with FCC requirements. This onsite role in Phoenix requires weekday mornings and weekend work.

Responsibilities include operating the control room, airing logs and commercials, and cross-training for shift coverage. Training is provided for live, recorded, and automated broadcasts, with digital workflow support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a radio control room, news/talk/sports preferred.
• Must be available for Saturday or Sunday overnight shifts.
• Training provided for operating the audio console live, recorded and automated.

Responsibilities

• Operate the on-air console with a focus on accuracy.
• Air commercials per program log.
• Screen listener calls for talk programs when no producer is on duty.
• Maintain transmitter and program logs accurately.
• Verify audio elements are error-free before airing.
