MEMPHIS LIGHT GAS & WATER is seeking an Operations Systems Specialist 1 to support the Electric System's OMS/DMS in a 24/7 environment. This entry-level role focuses on learning outage management processes, debugging, configuring, and documenting changes to OMS/DMS applications for operational reliability.

You will work with OMS/DMS tools and related interfaces (AMI, ESRI GIS), assist with system tuning, backups, and user support, and build knowledge of cyber security and NERC standards as they

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of experience in outage management systems (OMS), DMS or related IT fields.
• Knowledge of OMS/DMS concepts and cyber security basics.
• Ability to work with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide entry-level support of the OMS/DMS for electric utility services, including analysis, coding, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Design, code, test, integrate and document software changes for the OMS system applications.
• Assist with tuning, backups, and storage of OMS/DMS information and historical data.
• Interface OMS/DMS with other MLGW systems and support internal/external customer information needs.
• Develop understanding of storm processes and crew management in relation to outage management.
