Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in channel management, national accounts, e-commerce, retail sales, business development, or related commercial roles.
  • Proven success growing revenue and profitability through strategic account management, assortment optimization, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Experience managing retail, distributor, or e-commerce partners such as Northern Tool, Menards, Amazon, Grainger, or similar accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage sales, margin, inventory, and market data to drive decisions.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and sales forecasting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.

Position Overview

RapidAir is a leading designer and manufacturer of branded compressed air solutions—including piping, fittings, filtration, and accessories—serving transportation, manufacturing, industrial, energy, agricultural, and consumer markets.

In 2024, Gryphon Investors acquired a controlling interest in RapidAir through the Heritage Fund, positioning the company for significant growth. Position Overview

RapidAir is seeking an OmniChannel Account Manager to lead the growth and development of our retail, industrial distribution, and e-commerce sales channels. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and market share across key partners including Northern Tool, JD Tools, Menards, and other strategic accounts. The role will own channel strategy, account planning, product assortment, promotional execution, pricing, and new business development while partnering closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver profitable growth and an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate has experience managing and growing retail, industrial distribution, and e-commerce channels through strategic account planning, product launches, assortment optimization, pricing strategy, and promotional execution. They are a relationship-driven, analytical professional with a proven track record of increasing revenue and profitability across retailer, distributor, and marketplace partners while collaborating cross-functionally to execute growth initiatives and drive channel performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build productive relationships with buyers, category managers, and other key decision‑makers while establishing a consistent cadence of customer meetings and QBRs.
  • Successfully launch new products and identify opportunities to expand into new accounts and channels.
  • Use sales, margin, inventory, and market data to identify opportunities, improve performance, and strengthen forecasting.
  • Proactively bring forward ideas and collaborate cross-functionally to execute initiatives that grow RapidAir’s channels.
