Job summary

Coach, a global fashion house established in New York, seeks an Assistant Buyer for North America—Men's Leather Goods, Bags & Specialty Accessories. You will analyze sales, support OTB, and help drive assortment decisions in a fast-paced luxury environment.

The role requires a BA/BS, strong Excel skills, 1–2 years in buying/allocations, and a collaborative team orientation. This is a full-time on-site position in New York with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. required.
• Strong analytical and recap skills.
• Self-motivated and diligent in completing tasks.
• Detail oriented, organized, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a focus on collaboration.
• Highly skilled in Excel and planning/buying systems.
• 1-2 years of Buying, Allocation or Planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly selling reports and analyze performance.
• Partner with Buyer to manage OTB and meet financial targets at SKU level.
• Assist in executing quarterly buys and potentially manage buys over time.
• Manage SKU lifecycle from adoption to delete and adjust strategy.
• Build and maintain assortment tools and SKU counts seasonally.
• Forecast and reforecast to ensure plan achievement and inventory flow.
• Collaborate with Inventory Mgmt and Allocation to meet turn goals.
• Influence assortments using performance data and market knowledge.
• Partner with Ecommerce Merchandising, Marketing, Product Knowledge, VM and Store Ops to create synergies.
