Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group, the world’s largest multi-brand luxury retailer, seeks an Assistant Buyer in New York. You will participate in vendor selections, monitor inventory productivity, analyze vendor profitability, and assist with price changes online.

You will liaise with Buyers and brand partners, oversee offshore teams, provide allocation direction, and support market preparation. Strong analytics and merchandising software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Buyer
• Strong knowledge of retail math concepts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and merchandising software

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Buyers and brand partners to confirm order details and maintain POs
• Oversee offshore assistants' PO transmission and issue resolution
• Provide allocation direction and support in market preparation
• Analyze in-season performance and assist with pricing changes
