Job summary

Coach is seeking an Assistant Buyer for North America Men's Leather Goods, Bags & Specialty Accessories. This role will drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales analysis, support OTB planning, and help execute seasonal buys to meet financial targets while optimizing assortment and inventory flow.

Qualified candidates will hold a BA/BS, demonstrate strong analytical skills and 1–2 years in Buying or Planning roles, and be proficient in Excel.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• Strong analytical and recap skills.
• 1-2 years of Buying, Allocation or Planning experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly selling reports to recap and analyse business, making recommendations for driving improved performance and identifying opportunities.
• Partner with the Buyer to manage OTB across multiple departments to meet financial targets and productivity metrics at the SKU level for performance, sales, inventory, receipt and margin targets.
• Assist in executing quarterly buys to meet financial targets and global offer with potential to manage buys independently over time.
• Manage SKU lifecycle from adoption to delete, react to in season sales/learnings to determine go forward strategy and actions.
• Build and maintain assortment tools and sku counts season after season.
• Continuously analyse and assist in reforecasting business while suggesting strategies to ensure plan is achieved, including adjusting product flow and inventory management.
• Assist in working with Inventory Management and Allocation to ensure that distributions meet turn goals, support marketing calendar and maximize profitability.
• Influence category assortments by analysing product performance, customer feedback/data, consumer trends, competitive landscape and local market knowledge to global merchants/design.
• Assist in partnering with Ecommerce Merchandising, Marketing, Product Knowledge, Visual Merchandising and Store Operations teams to create synergies among all consumer touch points.
• Partner with field team to solicit qualitative feedback on product, customers, store environments & competition.
