Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited seeks a Sport Manager, Lacrosse to lead operational planning for the Olympic Lacrosse tournament at LA28 in Los Angeles. You will coordinate with World Lacrosse, LA28 teams, and local sport partners to design venues, schedules and training plans.

The role requires extensive Lacrosse knowledge, senior event operations experience, and the ability to recruit and manage a large workforce while driving budgets and program timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of Lacrosse and event operations at multiple levels.
• Experience delivering national and international sporting events in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning for the Olympic Lacrosse tournament for LA28.
• Collaborate with World Lacrosse and LA28 teams for venue, scheduling and testing.
• Recruit, onboard and lead the Competition Management workforce for Lacrosse.
• Develop and refine Event Operating Plans (EOPs) and provide sport-specific feedback.
• Manage budgets and project plans with sport-specific assumptions.
• Coordinate with World Lacrosse on IF and equipment requirements while ensuring compliance.
