Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Lacrosse Sport Manager to lead Olympic Lacrosse tournament operations in 2028, reporting to the Head of Exposition Park Venues & Sport. You will collaborate with World Lacrosse and internal teams to design venues, schedules, and workforce plans, delivering a world-class competition.

Applicants should have 5+ years managing national and international events, Lacrosse expertise, and proven leadership in large-scale sports programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years’ experience delivering national and international sporting events in a leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Extensive Lacrosse knowledge and event operations experience.
Experience coordinating with international federations and national governing bodies.
Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead competition management workforce for Lacrosse to ensure world-class delivery of operations.
Develop and refine Event Operating Plans (EOPs) and schedules in collaboration with World Lacrosse.
Coordinate with World Lacrosse to ensure IF requirements are integrated into planning.
Oversee venue design input and sport delivery plans.
Liaise with internal LA28 functions and stakeholders to align planning and execution.
