Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Olympia, WA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based role for the 2026-2027 school year. On-site in Olympia, you will provide direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP support with guaranteed hours and a 37.5-hour work week.

The compensation ranges from $55 to $65 per hour, based on experience, with comprehensive district and TheraPeds collaboration for student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for Washington SLP licensure.
• WA Dept of Education credential for school-based practice, as required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred.
• CF-SLP candidates may be considered with supervision available.
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of speech-language development, assessment, and progress monitoring.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals.
• Track progress and adjust intervention strategies based on data.
• Consult with teachers, special education staff, and families.
• Support articulation, language, fluency, AAC, and pragmatic needs.
• Document and complete progress reports timely and accurately.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and team meetings.
• Collaborate with school staff and administrators on student services.
• Manage assigned caseload and required documentation.
