Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking an Oligonucleotide Scientist II for a contract assignment in South San Francisco, CA. You will join the NADD team, contributing to oligonucleotide discovery, synthesis, and analytical efforts in a multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with oligonucleotide synthesis and purification, a BS/MS in Organic Chemistry or related field, and strong communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in oligonucleotide synthesis and purification.
• Experience with automated oligo synthesizers and nucleic acid chemistry.
• Strong in data interpretation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in an oligonucleotide therapeutic drug discovery lab and interface across therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate to maintain lab equipment like oligo synthesizers, HPLC and desalting units.
• Propose and execute nucleic acid chemistry plans; coordinate chemistry and biology data.
• Establish methods for scaled-up synthesis and coordinate material delivery for preclinical studies.
• Maintain productivity to meet timelines for in vitro and in vivo studies.
