Job summary

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I, Oligo to join the manufacturing team in San Diego. You will support daily production operations, perform basic production tasks, prepare equipment and materials, and maintain proper documentation under close supervision in ISO-classified spaces.

The ideal candidate has a life science degree and 1+ year biochemistry lab experience, with exposure to cGMP environments and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in life science or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a biochemistry manufacturing laboratory.
• Exposure to cGMP/ISO 7/ISO 8 clean room environments.
• Experience executing SOPs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic oligo synthesis, purification, processing steps under supervision.
• Prepare equipment and materials, document activities, and maintain records.
• Follow GDP compliant documentation; assist in batch records.
• Support training and cGMP/company training within timelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow SOPs.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors and senior associates.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to ensure workflow alignment.
