Job summary

Adesis Inc., a subsidiary of Universal Display Corporation, seeks a Research Scientist with deep expertise in synthetic organic chemistry to advance OLED materials. The role focuses on designing and synthesizing novel organic and organometallic compounds for high-performance OLED devices, with close collaboration across chemists, physicists, and engineers.

You will lead multi-step syntheses, analyze properties with advanced analytical techniques, and contribute to scalable preparation and device

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry with synthetic organic chemistry experience.
• Experience synthesizing and characterizing organic and/or organometallic compounds.
• Experience in multi-step organic synthesis and methodology.
• Knowledge of reaction mechanisms in organic and organometallic chemistry.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, UV).

Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize organic and organometallic molecules for OLED devices.
• Characterize photophysical, electrochemical, and thermal properties of compounds.
• Collaborate with chemists, physicists, and engineers to optimize structures and routes.
• Advance next-generation OLED materials through innovative research.
• Maintain laboratory standards and accurate documentation.
