Adesis Inc. is seeking a Research Scientist – Process Research Development to design and implement advanced synthetic methodologies for OLED materials. You will collaborate with chemists and engineers to optimize routes, explore flow chemistry, and drive scalable processes for next‑gen OLED devices.

The role emphasizes independent execution, data-driven design, and effective communication across teams, with a focus on innovative material synthesis and device-relevant properties.

Qualifications

• PhD in Organic or Organometallic Chemistry (post-doc or industry exp preferred).
• Proven multi-step synthesis of organic/organometallic compounds.
• Knowledge of reaction mechanisms and modern synthetic techniques.
• Experience with flow chemistry, high-throughput methods, and data analytics.
• Proficiency with MS Office, ChemDraw, e-notebook and LIMS.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop modern synthetic methodologies for challenging bond formations.
• Develop molecular assembly strategies for access to advanced OLED molecules and cost reduction.
• Quantitatively understand process parameters using Design of Experiments.
• Use kinetic models to optimize reactions and processes.
• Propose, direct, and perform experiments including flow chemistry and batch-to-flow conversions.
• Collaborate with OLED chemistry colleagues to apply Enabling Technologies solutions.
