Trinity Health Ann Arbor seeks a Patient Care Tech for the Older Adult/Stroke Unit. The role supports nursing staff by assisting with daily patient care, ADLs, specimen collection, and data documentation in a fast-paced clinical environment.

You will participate in care for patients with renal, stroke, and seizure-related needs, including EEG monitoring, within a unit that also cares for COVID-19 patients. Training is provided to ensure competency.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed nursing fundamentals in a BSN program.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, hygiene, positioning, transferring, and feeding.
• Collect and send specimens (blood, blood cultures) and manage IV catheters.
• Record patient information accurately for documentation.
