Job summary

Charger Hospitality in San Diego's historic Old Town is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a timely and compliant manner. You will work under the Restaurant Manager in the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring quality service and accurate cash handling.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of restaurant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant establishment.
• Ability to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare drink orders for bar and restaurant per Company procedures.
• Possess thorough knowledge of food and drink menu promotions and specials.
• Ability to accurately and honestly handle cash and credit card transactions, tips and sales reports.
• Obtain ServSafe or equivalent Certification in accordance with Company policy.
• Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedures.
• Provide timely, courteous and professional service to all guests.
• Stock and restock bar items, inform F&B Manager when items are running low.
• Understand company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
• Other duties per Duties Checklist and as requested.
