Job summary

Stenger & Stenger, P.C. is seeking an Attorney licensed in Oklahoma to join our consumer collections team in the Oklahoma City area. The role requires 1–3 years of creditor’s rights and civil litigation experience, plus a JD and active Oklahoma bar membership.

You will contribute to strategy, pleadings, and court appearances while collaborating with a skilled team. You will negotiate settlements, manage dockets, and stay current with laws and regulations through our technology-driven practice.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in creditor’s rights and civil litigation.
• Juris Doctorate and admission to the Oklahoma Bar.
• Licensed and located in Oklahoma (near Oklahoma City).

Responsibilities

• Use your JD and litigation knowledge to develop and implement case-level litigation strategy and zealously represent clients at court proceedings.
• Collaborate with internal attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to efficiently manage dockets, prepare pleadings, and ensure seamless case management.
• Negotiate settlements with defendants and opposing counsel, defend against counterclaims, and navigate escalated litigation matters to resolve disputes.
• Leverage technology to monitor changes in laws or regulations and to educate team members for continuous improvement.
• Travel regionally to appear at courts throughout Oklahoma and meet background check requirements.
