Job summary

NOV Rig Technologies in Houston seeks a experienced Project Manager to coordinate cross-functional teams on complex repair and drilling projects. You will own communications with customers and subcontractors, track costs, schedules, and ensure adherence to contract requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing project documentation, leading meetings, negotiating claims, and ensuring compliance with NOV policies and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated application of project management principles and PMI-aligned practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related discipline.
• Experience in managing budgets and cost controls on projects.
• Experience with drilling equipment or pressure control products preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, IFS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications for major projects across departments.
• Prepare customer documents and project drawings per contract.
• Represent company at customer coordination meetings.
• Monitor costs and gross margins; track major cost components.
• Manage overall project schedule and documentation.
• Negotiate settlement of project claims.
• Ensure compliance with NOV policies and procedures.
