Job summary

NOV seeks a Software and Controls Engineer for its Rig Systems Aftermarket team in Houston. You will design and develop control systems software, and support commissioning and documentation, while ensuring robust NOV control systems implementation.

You will also create HMI screens, program PLCs, review electrical schematics, and collaborate with project teams on estimates and schedules, with some travel to rigs and shipyards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience required or considered with 3+ years in the field.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA/HMI programming and electrical schematics required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems software, ensuring equipment functionality and performance.
• Assist in creating and maintaining commissioning and software process documentation.
• Provide field support, troubleshooting and diagnostics for NOV control systems.
