Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment with a strong emphasis on customer service. You will act as a trusted advisor while upholding brand promises and safety standards.

The role includes installing and servicing heating systems, performing tune-ups, and participating in on-call rotations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training and CETP certification are preferred or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Propane CETP certification required for propane technicians.
• Licensing as required in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair oil and/or propane heating systems per codes and company policy.
• Perform efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Record and report parts and labor for service calls; maintain inventories.
• Work on-call nights and weekends as necessary.
• Promote company products and advise customers on best options.
• Maintain neat service vehicle and safe working conditions.
