Dead River Company in Nashua, NH is seeking an experienced service technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial oil and propane heating systems, delivering reliable, safe service to customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with technical training, CETP certification plus propane licensing a plus. The role includes on-call rotations, competitive compensation, and benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repairs of residential and commercial oil and/or propane heating equipment.
• Strong customer focus and safety orientation.
• Ability to work without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs oil and/or propane heating systems in accordance with codes and company policies.
• Performs efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Ensures safe and accurate workmanship to minimize call-backs and liability.
• Maintains neat, safe service vehicle and communicates with customers as a trusted advisor.
• Records parts and labor promptly and maintains inventories.
• Participates in night and weekend on-call rotations as needed.
• Reports accidents, spills, and liability claims.
