Job summary

Cliff Berry, Inc. is seeking an Oil Processing Technician in Miami to operate and monitor cooker tanks, heat and treat oil products, and perform quality control checks throughout production.

The role requires following safety procedures and maintaining detailed records of process parameters. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and knowledge of petro-chemical processes, with hands-on experience in hydraulics, piping, and thermal systems to ensure product quality and compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of petro-chemical engineering principles.
• Mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, thermal fluid heaters, piping and pumps.
• Experience with sampling, data management, and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety procedures for fuels handling and PPE.
• Ability to read technical manuals and analytical reports.

Responsibilities

• Heat cooker tanks to prescribed temperatures.
• Maintain logs of heater temperatures and product levels.
• Monitor and transfer oil between tanks and monitor levels.
• Operate Gencor thermal heater within design parameters.
• Perform quality control sampling from tanks and tanker loads.
• Record finished product volumes and maintain related records.
